History | HMS Culver (Lt.Cdr. Randall Thomas Gordon-Duff, RN) blew up and sank after being hit by two torpedoes from U-105 while escorting the convoy SL-98 about 450 miles west-south-west of Cape Clear in position 48º43'N, 20º14'W with the loss of the commanding officer, seven officers and 119 ratings.
