History | Decommissioned on 17 January 1923 USS Perry (Lt. William Neish Lindsay, Jr., USNR) struck a mine and sank off the southeast coast of Angaur, Palau in position 06º53'N, 134º10'E. 8 men died in the loss and 17 were wounded. There were 146 survivors. |
