HNoMS Gyller in Kristiansand harbour fired at Germans bombers until the surrender. (1)

9 Apr 1940
The Germans stated they would bomb Kristiansand city if not the Norwegian naval forces and fortress in the Kristiansand area surrendered. In order to save the citizens and Kristiansand city HNoMS Gyller surrendered. HNoMS Gyller was lost for the Royal Norwegian Navy. (1)
